Considering that on any given day you're likely to see famous patrons, like Vera Wnag, Naomi Campbbell, Sienna Miller, Tory Burch or Anna Wintour, dining at this London import, it's little surprise that there's a no-photography poilicy at Le caprice.  Unlike what the A-list Upper East  Siders that flock to this spot want you to believe, there's a decidedly laid-back feel to this Art Deco space. 

Done in basic black and white, if it weren't for the slew of well-manicured folks noshing on salads and guzzling martinis, you'd almost forget you were in the gilded Pierre Hotel.  A long front bar (18 seats) serving up seasonal drinks along with a well-priced menu (at least when considering the 5th Ave. addy), that includes a burger and salads, makes this a great after-work spot (even for this who consideranything above E 30 geriatric territory).
